Born on 19 May 1972 in Gothenburg, Sweden, Jenny Berggren grew up in a musical family alongside her brother Jonas and sister Linn. The siblings formed a band in their parents’ basement that would eventually become Ace of Base. The group’s first two released songs “All That She Wants” and “Wheel of Fortune” coupled in the number one and number two spots on the Danish charts before a single publicity photo had ever been snapped of Ace of Base.
Jenny, who had been planning a career in teaching, found herself propelled into global superstardom almost overnight.
